American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine is challenging quilters, crafters and sewers across the country to Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference. Sew Special Studio has joined the cause to help reach the goal of making and donating one million pillowcases to benefit local charities. Every pillowcase can make a difference in our community.  A pillowcase can provide comfort for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman, or beauty for a nursing home resident.

Join us on Saturday February 13 for a Valentine Pillowcase Party!  Sewing is even more fun when you sew with friends -- so we're having a party!  Sew Special Studio will provide the pillowcase kits, sewing supplies, irons & space, door prizes, a light lunch,  and of course, Valentine goodies!

We will be sewing from 10am-3pm on pillowcases for a local charity.  Bring your machine and/or serger, if you can -- if not, we will have some set up.  We will have patterns & instruction on the EZ Turn Pillowcase.  We will also have prizes for the person or team who completes the most pillowcases!  And, all participants will have the opportunity to purchase additional pillowcase kits to make for themselves @ 50% off.
