Exploring Machine Embroidery - Open to all makes and models of Embroidery Machines
Maybe you've just purchased your first embroidery machine, or maybe you've had it a while and know there is so much more than you can do with this incredible machine. So, we've designed a class that will help you "Explore Machine Embroidery". In this class, a different embroidery technique will be taught, -- covering which stabilizers to use, hooping techniques, templates and placemen techniques, and so much more -- while students are creating a professional looking embroidery project. Each month will be a different project/different technique. So, take a look at the ones that interest you -- and sign up for one -- or sign up for all! Before you know it, you will become an embroidery expert. (This is a
hands on class -- you bring your own machine).
The March Project will Machine Embroidery Cutwork -- learn to create beautiful vintage-style cutwork that looks like its hand stitched -- in just a fraction of the time! Using "Christian Cutowrk, from Anita Goodesign just in time for Easter -- or a beautiful Floral Cutwork design -- you'll love the results!
Class fee is $20 for each session. Some classes will require a kit purchase, and for some -- we will just send you a supply list. Taught by Sew Special Studio staff -- varies each month. Call the store (703) 497-0384 to sign up
